Har du noen favorittsteder i Oslo? I love discover new and independent cafes and some of my favourite is for example Neongrut, which has increadible coffee and bakery and is completely vegan!
The Printess is a stationary brand by Barbora Kurcova. She is a queer watercolor and digital artist originally from the Czech republic, finding her home in Norway. She is turning quirky and colorful paintings into cards, prints, stickers and all things printed. Her focus is on art that is accessible, affordable and inclusive.
Hva er grunnen til at du startet med akkurat dette? I used to be a creative photographer but that was not enough as I wanted all my crazy ideas to become true so I started painting. And then I wanted the anyone and everyone to be able to afford piece of my art so instead of focusing on big scale I went the other way and turn my paintings into stickers and cards.
Hva er det beste med å være sin egen sjef? The freedom! I can spend slow morning with a cup of coffee and my cat and the start working later in the day and feel like I am living exactly the life I want to live.
En funfact om prosessen? I love trying new things so there is a lot of failing in my creative process and my studio floor is often covered with sticker paper I angrily throw around.
